My name is Kal-El Price Kuykendall,

I am an illustrator and comic artist with a BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design, specializing in cover art, sequential storytelling, and character-driven visual narratives. Inspired by comics, animation, and entertainment properties, I create bold, expressive artwork that combines traditional draftsmanship with modern digital techniques.

Every project begins with pencil and paper before evolving through a digital workflow that emphasizes strong composition, dynamic color, and impactful storytelling. Whether developing comic covers, posters, sequential pages, or promotional artwork, my goal is to create images that capture attention and invite viewers into a larger story.

My work is influenced by the visual storytelling of comics, manga, and animation, with a focus on memorable characters, dramatic moments, and immersive worlds. I am currently seeking opportunities in comics, publishing, and entertainment media where I can contribute compelling artwork, collaborate with creative teams, and bring stories to life through illustration.
